My story begins in Jamaica, where my roots continue to shape how I see and tell stories. My name is Racquel P. Henry, and I’m the photographer behind 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒚. Growing up with little to no photographs to look back on taught me how much images can mean. When my father brought home his first Nikon, I was fascinated by cameras, and that moment helped me fall in love with cameras and photography. Needless to say, I am a 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝑵𝒊𝒌𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒓. I photograph events, portraits, seniors and graduates, couples, and elopements. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated.
