Hi, My name is Racquel P. Henry, Freelance Photographer and Creative. I'm a mother of 3, with an intense passion to create in whatever aspect creativity brings. I have been in the healthcare industry for 12 years and is now making the bold move to my first love; photography. While at first glance it might seem that I am late in my creative journey. I think my seasoned spirit elevates my creativity. My appreciation for photography started when I was about 5 years old when my dad first bought home a Nikon. I guess you can say that it was inspired by the fact that there were no images on records with my family. In those day in Jamaica having a camera wasn’t a luxury that most had. It was really then I decided that given the opportunity I would capture every moment I could. So, it was safe to say the love affair intensified. All through school I was always known as the one with the camera in hand. I love the ability to tell a story with an image. It’s something that even long after the moment passes you have the memories. I recently graduated from  F.I.R.S.T institute studying digital photography; I wanted to focus on the technical side of this dream. I also wanted to understand the fundamentals of building my brand. The inspiration behind my brand name came from two personal love of mine, the color purple and the hibiscus plant. My creative style is clean, natural, soulful and purposeful. Unexpected discovery in my journey is the love for portraits, promotional events, nature, and documentary photography. I create a storytelling vibe with every image.  I am now in a follow your heart and chase your dream season in my life. And I am enjoying every minute of it. My overall goal as a photographer is to make it last forever...
